(Atlanta, Georgia)-- Southern Skyways, a public charter operator, announced today that it will cancel the planned seasonal service between Tri-Cities, TN and Myrtle Beach, SC effective immediately.

In making the announcement, Cary Evans, Executive Vice President, said “We have had this summer program on sale since the first of the year and the response has been below expectations. We assume the proximity to Myrtle Beach makes it more attractive for families to drive instead of flying to the destination.”

Southern Skyways will make a full refund to all passengers affected by the cancellation and will begin processing refunds on Monday, March 17, 2008.
